Refunds and date changes
Last updated September 2026
This is a plain-language draft that describes how the service actually behaves. Have it reviewed by a lawyer in your jurisdiction before you rely on it commercially.
Events move. Here is what we can do, and when.
Before your window opens
Ask any time before your first licensed day begins and we will refund in full, or move the dates at no cost. Moving dates is usually the better option and takes a minute.
Once your window has started
A licence that has begun is treated as delivered, because the days it reserves cannot be resold. If you have not used it at all we will normally still refund the unused days as a goodwill gesture; ask us.
If it did not work
If Presenta failed on our side during your event — the service was down, translation would not connect, or your key was wrongly rejected — tell us what happened and we will refund the affected days in full or extend your licence, whichever you prefer.
Problems we cannot refund for include a venue with no usable internet, a microphone that was not connected, and translation quality that was accurate but not to your taste. Try it before the day so none of these are a surprise.
How refunds arrive
Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe, usually within five to ten business days. A fully refunded licence is revoked at the same time and stops working.
