Terms of service
Last updated September 2026
This is a plain-language draft that describes how the service actually behaves. Have it reviewed by a lawyer in your jurisdiction before you rely on it commercially.
These terms cover the Presenta desktop app and the hosted translation service behind it.
What you are buying
A licence to use Presenta for a fixed number of calendar days, in the time zone you choose at purchase. The licence includes the translation service itself; you do not need your own provider account.
A licence may be bound to a limited number of machines at once, shown on the plan you bought. You may move a seat between machines from your dashboard.
Acceptable use
Do not share your licence key publicly, resell access, or attempt to use one key across more machines than the plan allows. We may revoke a key that is being shared, and revocation takes effect within a few minutes.
Do not use the service to process audio you have no right to process, or to produce subtitles for unlawful content.
Accuracy
Subtitles are produced by automatic speech recognition and machine translation. They will contain mistakes, especially with names, numbers, jargon and crosstalk. Do not rely on them for anything medical, legal, financial or safety-critical without a human interpreter.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up during your licence window and we monitor it, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee at this price point. If an outage on our side stops you presenting, contact us and we will extend or refund the affected days.
The service depends on third-party translation providers. If a provider fails, we may switch engines mid-session, which can change subtitle style slightly.
Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the licence in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business from a presentation that did not go as planned.
Changes
We may change prices for future purchases at any time. A licence you have already bought keeps the terms and price it was sold at.
